Senior Welfare Rights Adviser

Dalkeith CAB seeks a Senior Welfare Rights Adviser (35 hours per week £32,000 pa plus pension, fixed term for 18 months.)

This exciting new role will be a blend of assisting clients with serious and complex concerns related to benefits and other issues and supporting a small team of paid and volunteer Advisers by assisting them with their cases and contributing to their learning and development.

Experience of providing advice and information to an advanced level, effective communication skills, the ability to provide individual and group support and training, and a comprehensive understanding of UK and Scottish benefits system are required.
