Dalkeith Trustee Board Opportunity

Dalkeith Trustee Board Opportunity

6th July 2022
Hands of 3 people writing notes.

Can you help us make Dalkeith a stronger, fairer community?

Dalkeith CAB is looking for volunteers to serve on its Board of Trustees to provide strategic direction and support to our charity which provides free, confidential, impartial advice and information on benefit, debt, housing, employment and other issues.

Previous experience of the voluntary sector (paid or unpaid), being on a committee or Board, and of advice-giving are an advantage but not essential.  What's more important is a commitment to the Citizens Advice vision of a fairer community where people are valued and their rights respected.

The Board meets bi-monthly (currently via video) and Trustees are asked to commit 4-6 hours per month to the charity. Training is provided and out-of-pocket expenses are reimbursed. Trustees should live, work or have a similar connection with Midlothian.

Please download the Trustee Role Specification below for further information.
